Ever since Nook, I have been asked if I would return to write something similar to that book. Small Town Dark is just that.
It's a dark, reflective story about the times we are living in. At it's heart, its about a cult of people who are tricked into following a monster only to be betrayed. One of the betrayed is a young girl who escapes before the horrific event that is reported as a mass suicide.
Paulie, the lone survivor, returns to the scene of the event 20 years later, seeking answers about the cult, her father, and the darkness that has returned to Marion Falls.
